Bell Ringing

2009 has been similar to 2008 where the position has been one of maintaining our position with regard to ringing for Sunday services and weddings. We had two new learners start in the year and we are expecting a further two in the in the early part of 2010.

Just occasionally we are only able to ring 4 bells on Sunday morning but normally we are able to ring on 6 bells and, more rarely, on 8 bells. To be able to make best use of all 8 bells we need more, local ringers

Anyone who may be interested in bell ringing is very welcome to come along on any Monday evening between 7.45pm and 9 pm to see what goes on. Anyone from about the age of 12 can learn to ring – there is no upper age limit.
